Request to apply for a new
The UAE ID card is mandatory for all residents of the UAE including UAE nationals, GCC nationals, expatriates and residents of the UAE. Where any person covered by one of these categories is required to apply for a card from the Federal Identity and Nationality Authority.
The required documents
1. The origin of the digest.
2. Original passport valid.
3. Certificate of Social Security certified by the Ministry of Community Development.
* Elderly, clinically and mentally challenged and autistic patients:
1. The origin of the digest.
2. Original passport valid.
3. Certificate of Social Security certified by the Ministry of Community Development.
4. Certificate of agency for the person acting on behalf of the client.
5. A personal image of the client (4.5 x 3.5 cm) with a white background
6. Fingerprinting model approved by the competent authority.
7. Medical reports approved by the Ministry of Health or from health authorities in the UAE and valid.
